Year 2

Current news:

 

Year 2 have been very busy this term learning all about fire and light. Through this topic we have explored electricity, The Gunpowder Plot, Guy Fawkes and even learnt about night animals where we had a visit from Farmer Nick and his Barn owl.

 

We are very much looking forward to performing our Nativity this term where we are currently learning lots of songs. In the classroom we have been busy making lots of Christmas crafts as well as making clay barn owls, clay leaves and drawing using different medias.

Below is some general information about what Year 2 needs to remember during the week.

 

P.E- P.E kits must be kept in school all term and if they are taken home, must be brought back as soon as possible as P.E is on a Tuesday morning and Friday afternoon.

 

Homework: New spellings are given out on a Tuesday as well as the spelling test also happening on a Tuesday.
