Air Ambulance makes landing on school playground

At around 4pm on July 20th, an Air Ambulance made a landing on the St John's Playground much to the excitement of the St John's Staff.

It was attending to a call nearby and teachers and some children from nearby houses were able to speak to the pilot who proudly showed off his helicopter! The teachers and children learnt that the Air Ambulance is provided by a charity and covers a huge area. The Pilot said that School playgrounds are always excellent places to land once school is over.

The Helicopter left around 5pm.
