Local MP visits Y6

On Monday 15th March, Dan Norris our local MP came to visit Year 6 to talk about life as an MP and answer any questions. This followed quickly on from the Y6 trip to London. As part of the trip the class visited the Houses of Parliament and saw the Commons and Lords in action. They even spotted Lord Alan Sugar!

The children asked some excellent questions, including: "Which party would you be in if you couldn't be in the Labour party?" and lots of other questions about Gordon Brown and the general election.
