Y5 and 6 visit Cadbury's

On the 26th January Year 5 and Year 6 went to Cadburys chocolate factory. The trip was very exciting and was filled with once in a lifetime opportunities.

Firstly we looked in the Somerdale room and searched for information. In the room there were some interesting things like portraits and chocolate tins but the best was the first ever chocolate bar that was ever made. Then each class went to the Carter room to see some chocolate facts. There were lots of pictures of old workers and names of past owners of the factory. Then we learnt about the making of chocolate, you only need cocoa shells, milk and sugar. We also learnt about the making of CRUNCHIES and MINI EGGS. In another room we saw 2 short interesting videos about the war and mail in CADBURYS. The trip to CADBURYS was an amazing experience that barely any other schools shall do. Cadburys shall be missed.
