Year 6 Cricketers in BANES Cricket Tournament

On Tuesday 25th May, 8 of our Year 6 children entered a team into the BANES Cricket Tournament. The team did extremely well, with some fine individual cricketing performances. They won 3 out of their 4 group matches, placing them join first in their group overall. This then qualified them for a semi-final in the Plate competition, which they narrowly lost to Combe Down School.

Particularly praise goes to Hannah and Lauren, playing in their first ever competitive cricket match and to Dan who captained the side superbly during the day.
