St John's on Ice a great success

On June 30th, 300 children, parents, governors and teachers took the the Ice for the first ever 'St John's on Ice'.

The idea came from two Y6 children; Grace Edwards and Roseanna Prior, who helped to organise the event, sorting out the tickets and promoting the event in school.

Their idea was to raise money for the PTA and sponsorship money is still rolling into the school office. We will let you know how much the final total will be, but the total raised will be boosted by the £150 donation from Bristol Ice Rink as they kindly donated 50p for every ticket if we sold more than 150.
